| Text of Note | Mohamed Sifaoui signe ici un texte fort et clairvoyant, invitant les musulmans à s'approprier la laïcité pour fonder leur inscription dans la Cité. Sans colère, mais sans concession, il démonte dans un texte simple et savant la mécanique de l'islamisme. Il montre que la laïcité n'est pas une menace, mais une promesse : celle de croire librement - ou de ne pas croire. En se basant sur des arguments théologiques, il rappelle aussi qu'islam et laïcité ne sont en rien antagonistes. Ce texte est un appel, le premier du genre. Face à l'activisme et la propagande islamistes, jamais telle invitation n'avait été formulée aussi clairement. Au-delà des musulmans, l'auteur rappelle le caractère universel de cette valeur qui représente le socle de notre projet républicain. |
