Vingt fois plus d’ermites, en France, qu’il y a vingt ans. De ces hommes et de ces femmes — de ces femmes surtout — qui choisissent de tout quitter pour vivre dans la précarité matérielle, la solitude et le silence. A la recherche de l’Autre. Juifs, chrétiens, musulmans, mais aussi hindouistes et bouddhistes ont toujours su qu’un des chemins vers la Transcendance — peut-être le plus court et certainement le plus difficile — se trouvait au désert. Mais, depuis deux siècles, rares étaient ceux qui l’empruntaient. Or voici que dans notre monde matérialiste des êtres acceptent et recherchent la faim, le froid, la solitude pour mieux trouver les vraies relations de l’homme avec Dieu. |
